The DiBenidetto family is very near and dear to my heart. I've seen their daughter Savanah grow up right before our eyes, from an unborn baby baking in an oven, to the sweet little rascal she is today. Darren and Nancy, you really are some of my favorite people. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did rolling around in the leaves, trying not to fall out of that velvety queen-anne's chair on that crazy hillside during out shoot! The view out in Escondido is beautiful, you totally called it. But for now, this city girl is staying put.

Lynette + Tony | Balboa Park Couples Shoot

These two where so fun to shoot with! The couple decided on the always gorgeous Balboa Park for there couple's shoot which they had chosen in the weekend of their anniversary. With the sun setting quickly, we had to move fast to catch the last of the day's light. These two where such outfit-changing pros... you'd think they were models! Lynette and Tony, it was a blast shooting with you and congrats on your recent anniversary.

Newborn Baby Kayla

My niece was born this past week. It was such an amazing road to her birth, and getting to meet her on her birthday was incredibly emotional. I'm so proud of Lorielle and Keith, there are no words. It seems like just last January I was blogging their wedding... ;p. There is such an upwelling of love in my life right now, I feel so lucky to be alive. xoxo

Mike + Marcy | San Diego Wedding Photographer

It's always wonderful and inspiring to see a couple so deeply in love. When I met Mike and Marcy, I could tell they were that magic kind of couple, and I couldn't wait to shoot their wedding.These two threw an amazing wedding that I was so fortunate to shoot. Mike and Marcy are from Phoenix, Arizona but chose a small cliff in Cardiff to get married on after falling in love with the view a few months earlier. This bride chose to DIY her wedding day florals, which turned out fabulously I might add for any of you future brides who are thinking of doing the same. And did I mention that they included their two awesome daughters in their ceremony?
After catching some totally rad portraits down by the rocky water's edge, everyone met up at the Pacifica in Solana Beach for the reception. Mike and Marcy, your family was so warm and welcoming and your wedding was such a blast to shoot! Thank you so much for allowing me to share in your big day.
