Scott + Laura | San Diego Wedding Photography
Warm. Down-to-Earth. Fun; that is what my most recent Bride and Groom embody in a nut-shell. So when I was invited to photograph Scott and Laura's summer wedding, I knew it was going to be a blast. And if these two weren't enough fun on their own, they came with an amazing family in tow; representin' from both sides of the pond. The bride even kept a 6 pence in her shoe! British and Southern accent's galore, I may or may not have belted out Lady Gaga tunes with this group into the wee hours of the night. Seriously... I have never heard or partook in so much laughter at a wedding before this one!
These two threw their San Diego wedding ceremony at Community of Christ Church in El Cajon, and danced on over to Gio Bistro & Wine Bar in La Mesa for their reception. The couple chose vibrant yellow sunflowers and daises for their bouquets and centerpieces (which they custom crafted themselves by the way!!), and clover green accents for the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Twiggs Bakery in North Park created Scott & Laura's custom rubber-duckie-themed wedding cake, and the rubber duckies were out in full force around each of the travel-themed reception tables' center pieces (again all of which the Bride created herself...such a talent!)
Talk about fabulously fun and offbeat... Scott and Laura, your wedding was so warm and full of love, I know you two are off to an amazing start as husband and wife. {>o<}

Isn't Laura stunning?!? Such a beauty...

... and Scott's not bad either ;)
